We grow vegetables and greens on about one and a half acres near Niwot, CO and also some herbs and honey in Lafayette, CO. All our crops are grown without the use of synthetic fertilizers, herbicides nor pesticides. We use compost and cover crops to maintain fertility, and minimal tillage with light machinery to avoid compaction and erosion. Damage from pests or disease is minimized through our crop selection and rotations, and the use of row covers. We are members of the Niwot Growers Assoc. which leases about 7 acres from Boulder County Parks and Open Space. On this property we are farming about 1 acre and again for 2010 we lease about a half acre from another farmer. Both properties are within 1 mile of each other. For our CSA members we are planning an open house every third Sunday from June thru October. Where we sell:

Online Ordering: If you're not sure you can use a whole CSA share but would still like to receive fresh locally grown produce from us then maybe online ordering is for you. How it works: To get on our online ordering list just send us an email stating that you would like to be placed on our online ordering email list to darrell@gingercatfarm.com . Then on Sundays starting in May or June we will email you a list of available produce for that week with a cost for each item. Email us back by Tuesday before 6:00 pm and we will email you a confirmation and total cost. Then just
pickup and pay for your order on Wednesday at the same place and
